Shipping:
-
The cost of shipping is NOT
added to your order.
-
Shipping cost will be
calculated only after you request us to pack and send your
order(s)
-
This is so that we can
investigate and negotiate the cheapest and best shipping solution for
your unique locality and situation.
-
Shipping cost is to be paid
before we ship the order. we will not ship until your account is
paid.
-
We can ship your order to
you via Airport to Airport air freight, Surface freight, Courier
Service, or postal service. We will help you select the cheapest and
most efficient shipping option when it is time to send your order.
1) If you have a show or a date deadline - it is vital that we received
at least 3 weeks notice so that we can guarantee your order reaches you
on time.
2) Once you have told us to pack and send - it is now too late to make
changes. Items cannot be taken out or added in.
3) A final freight price can only be given after the order is
packed and sealed.
4) There are 5 freight options but we strongly advice you use
international airport to international airport for the quickest most
cost effective way
i) international airport to international airport - we take goods to the
airport once a week. Once a flight has been booked it takes 4 days to
reach your airport. You collect your goods from the cargo department at
your airport (this is a separate building from the passenger
section). If your order exceeds $2000 you have to use and agent or a
lowered invoice. Customs will be charged depending on the value of your
goods. This varies from state to state and country to country. On
average it is between $30 and $60 per shipment.
ii) seafreight - this is only viable for quantities exceeding 200kg
(440lbs). On average to America it takes 40 days. Customs will be
charged to you plus by law you have to use an agent. On average it is
about $300 per shipment.
iii) airmail - this is by normal postal services. This takes on average
14 days to reach you. It is expensive on orders exceeding 22lbs.
iv) surface mail - this is by postal services - this is by far the
cheapest method - but takes 12 weeks to reach you. If you plan well
ahead then this method is worth while. Please note any single
items exceeding 55lbs cannot go via postal services.
v) Courier - this is about 4 times more expensive than airmail and takes
6 - 10 days to reach you. Unless you have an extreme emergency or a very
high valued light stone - we would not recommend this method.
5) Once the freight price has been quoted an invoice is done and emailed
to you. Goods will only go once this invoice has been paid in full. We
do not offer payment terms.
6) Payment details are sent with the invoice. We accept direct transfers
and credit card payments. If you send a check (cheque) then goods will
not be sent until check has arrived and been banked. We do not
have pay pal.
7) Once shipment has gone - full details and tracking numbers will be
emailed to you.
It is impossible for us to
give an accurate shipping quote in advance. This is due to fluctuating
international exchange rates, fuel price, seasonal differences and many
other factors.
Below is a rough price
table based on the major international centres. choose one closest to you
for a general estimate of shipping cost. These prices are not 100%
accurate and are prone to fluctuation.
Note - should you not live close
enough to an international airport to collect yourself additional costs
may be incurred. Click Here for Details
There are 5 ways to send goods:

equal to 2.2lbs.

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO AIRPORT
This is from Johannesburg Airport in South Africa to your nearest
International Airport. If order exceeds $2000 in America you have to use
an
agent. (Clearing yourself is cheaper.) All customs charges will be charged
to you at pick up and not by us.
Please note - the cargo/freight department at your airport is not the same
building as where passengers land. It is advised that you phone your
airport
and get the exact location. Info should be able to help you.
Average flight time is 4 days. Please note we only do an airport run once
a
week, not daily.
Every single Country and State charges different customs rates - so I
cannot
calculate what those charges are.
Most of our goods fly on either British Airways (handled by Forward Air in
America), Air Qantas, KLM and Singapore Airlines.
Tracking sites for these are:
