Tantara emerged around 2020, unveiling its distinct character with Dioptase crystals exhibiting a diverse range of textures and formations. Though less gemmy than the Brazzaville specimens, Tantara's Dioptase continues to captivate with its striking emerald green hue. These discoveries have led to a renaissance in the discovery of collector and museum-grade Dioptase specimens across Africa in recent years, surpassing even the remarkable findings of Tsumeb, Namibia.
