Jozini ist einer der wenigen Standorte in Südafrika für Amethyst-Geoden! Sie neigen dazu, größtenteils kreisförmig zu sein, wobei es sich bei einem kleinen Prozentsatz um komplexere, klumpenartige kristalline Exemplare handelt. Der Amethyst weist manchmal Goethit-Einschlüsse auf. Die Farbintensität reicht von blassem bis dunklem Amethyst! Vielleicht nicht so schön wie das Kwaggafontein-Material, aber sehr attraktiv! Manchmal ist es am besten, sie zu schneiden, um überschüssige Matrix anzuzeigen oder zu entfernen. Der Bergbau in der Region war schon immer eine Herausforderung! Der Preis ist sortenabhängig.
