General Description
A brand-new mix of green beryl (emerald) in a mica / schist matrix. This is exceptional specimen grade material mined exclusively in Zimbabwe for Toprock. The emeralds are not gemmy but rather milky in clarity but have a lovely rich green color! The material is generally found in fairly large blocks which are then cobbed into smaller more sellable specimens. Each specimen also undergoes extensive high-pressure cleaning to remove excess matrix, and to expose the emeralds. Recently we have begun to polish this material with amazing outcomes. We have only done a handful of spheres but mostly standing free forms to maximize the material use and reduce waste. Price is grade dependent. Items are as shown.Product Data
