PRODUCT INFORMATION

General Description

Batch includes on average 9 - 12 pieces per kilogram.

Generally Speaking - Chrome Chalcedony (Mtorolite) is similar in appearance to the better known Chrysoprase, but differs in that whilst Chrome Chalcedony is coloured by Chromium, Mtorolite is coloured by Nickel and may also contain tiny black specks of Chromite. The material occurs in complex plate like deposits with specimens often appearing etched. The Mtorolite supplied by Toprock tends to have been polished on the one side due to the nature of the thin plates in which it is generally found. This is exclusively mined and polished in Zimbabwe for Toprock. Unusually beautiful.

The photographs are representative of the bulk batch being offered - variation is to be expected across individually selected batches. However, all batches within this stock item are fully sorted and selected accordingly to associated grade.
