General Description
Lovely new affordable Amethyst specimens being sourced in Mambwe, Kolomo region, Zambia. The colour intensity is variable across the deposit with the selected material having gemmy clarity and phantom like features. Gary from time to time will touch up some terminations. Material has mostly been cleaned else natural features of red haematoid-like staining, drusy Quartz coating, or possible etching of the crystal surfaces are encountered. Specimens are quite sizable with the individual crystals being fairly large and often quite impressive. Occasionally the deposit yields exceptionally large crystals or clusters of exceptionally large crystals. Very nice colour with complex vug or plate like specimens. Price is grade dependant.
