PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Agate is a translucent, microcrystalline form of silica, known for its striking variety of patterns and colors. Unlike Jaspers, which are typically opaque, Agates allow light to pass through, showcasing their unique translucency. Sourced from across Madagascar, Agate and crystalline Agate are primarily polished in Antananarivo.
The material features a spectrum of colors and patterns, from banded greys and whites to dendritic black spots, and includes striking fortification patterns with crystals in shades ranging from clear and pale to vibrant purple Amethyst. Unlike standard Brazilian dyed Agate, our selection consists exclusively of naturally colored material, with only the top 20% of each batch being chosen for its quality.
