Moonstone, a relatively new and rare variety, is a type of Potassium Silicate Feldspar known for its distinct color range, usually spanning from tan brown to peachy pink. This unique material is also referred to as Orange Microcline Feldspar. Each piece of Moonstone can exhibit varying levels of color intensity, with some featuring veins and others displaying a shimmering effect akin to spheres. Feldspar, including Microcline, is a widely occurring mineral, but high-quality Moonstone remains a rarity. Microcline, an essential component in igneous rock formation, is characterized by its potassium content and often contains minor amounts of sodium.
