Large Butter Jade sphere with nice banding patterns
Butter Jade from Bronkhorstspruit, South Africa, is known for its, buttery yellow to greenish-yellow hues and smooth texture. Despite its name, it is not true Jade but rather a variety of Serpentine or similar Silicate material. Found in limited deposits near Bronkhorstspruit, Butter Jade holds a special appeal to the rock world.
