SALROSE
Salrose (French for "salt rose") refers to crystalline pink Cobalt-bearing Dolomite from the Congo. While often considered Pink Calcite or Cobalt Calcite, it can also be Cobalt-bearing Dolomite. The name Salrose applies to both types from Southern and Central Congo. Specimens may feature Malachite or other copper-based minerals but not always. They range from pale milky pink crystals to rare, highly optic deep pink gemmy material.
