Eine Weltneuheit, polierter Purpurit! Dieses Material wurde wunderschön poliert und in verschiedene Formen gebracht. Purpurit ist ein Mangan-Eisenphosphat-Mineral mit unterschiedlichen Eisenmengen je nach Quelle. Es kommt in Farbbereichen von bräunlichschwarz über violett und violett bis hin zu dunkelrot vor. Purpurit bildet eine Reihe mit dem eisenhaltigen Endglied Heterosit, FePO4. Wir beziehen Purpurit aus Namibia. Purpurit bildet keine Kristalle, sondern kommt als schönes metallisches Chatoyant in Adern und entlang Bruchflächen des Muttergesteins vor. Der Preis ist sortenabhängig.
