Zimbabwean Emeralds – A Unique Find
Emerald Chamesite, or Chrome Clinochlore, found in a Mica-rich Quartzite matrix from Mutoko, Zimbabwe, is an exceptionally rare and sought-after mineral specimen. Its vibrant emerald-green color, caused by it's Chromium content, closely resembles that of precious Emeralds. The rarity of this material is further emphasized by its unique formation within a Mica-Quartzite matrix, adding both aesthetic appeal and mineralogical significance.
