PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Unique rough clear Gypsum specimens from Congo
Gypsum from the Congo is a naturally occurring mineral composed primarily of calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO₄·2H₂O). It forms in evaporative environments, where water evaporates from saltwater bodies, leaving behind sulfate-rich deposits. In the Congo, gypsum deposits are typically found in sedimentary layers and are valued for their high purity.
