General Description

Eleven to 17 Gallets per batch, including a range of sizes from small to large. All batches are unique and include a range of colour intensities and show variation. Generally Speaking - Amazonite, which is a natural turquoise coloured gem Feldspar, is sporadically available from Madagascar. The colour has been decreasing in intensity for a number of years and is often hard to get. However, a new section of the deposit has been exposed and the colour intensity quality appears to be rebounding. The material also sometimes has a white banded like colour distribution. The odd piece may have small specular Smokey Quartz like inclusions else small traces of black specular inclusions.

The photographs are representative of either the entire stock item offered, else a representative sample of the broader batch. Variation is to be expected across individually selected batches. However, all batches / items within this stock item are fully sorted and selected accordingly to associated grade.
