Polished Huge Bloodstone Sphere With Golden Pyrite Specks, Includes A Custom Palisandre Rosewood Stand

One of the largest sphere made using this material is years! very nice piece made using highly selected top quality material. Generally Speaking - Seftonite is the metaphysical name given to Bloodstone from Africa. This is rare Swaziland Bloodstone which is mined in a very remote and difficult area to gain access too. The material is a brecciated Chalcedony-like material which generally has specular inclusions of Pyrite with red "drop stone" like Jasper in a grey often clear matrix. This deposit is no longer mined and old school batches of rough come up from time to time which we then process. This deposit sits close to a gold mine. Near impossible to export from Swaziland.
