HYALITE OPAL
Hyalite is a rare clear opal that displays an internal play of colors and bright green/yellow fluorescence under UV light. Also known as Muller's glass or water opal, it often occurs with Schorl, the most common form of Tourmaline, which forms lustrous crystals. Our black Tourmaline comes from the Erongo Region of Namibia, known for exceptional specimen-grade material. Tourmaline may appear as single crystals or clusters and can include associations with Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Feldspar, and Orthoclase. Schorl is prized for its aesthetic qualities and ability to absorb electromagnetic radiation.
